Rites of passage include those that are <em>educational<\/em>, such as passing a grade level or acquiring new knowledge; <em>developmental<\/em>, such as the changes of puberty; and <em>social<\/em>\/<em>cultural<\/em>, such as the acquisition of new skills and responsibilities.
