Each post is time stamped and they appear in reverse chronological order with most recent always displayed first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make a post in WordPress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log into your&nbsp;<strong>WordPress Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Navigate in the left menu to&nbsp;<strong>Posts<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>Add New<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Add your text and media content to your post with the the <strong>Gutenberg WordPress editor<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Publish<\/strong>&nbsp;when you are done creating your post. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The post will appear on your news or blog landing page. For more details about creating a post and adding post content, please view the video below &#8220;Create a blog post&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A note about the teasers on the blog landing page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The blog or news landing page is a running list of your blog posts presented in reverse chronological order (most recent will rise to the top). <strong>Posts<\/strong> differ from <strong>pages<\/strong> in that they get a time and date stamp, which informs the order in which they will display on your website. By default, the blog post content in the teasers on your blog landing page will show the entire blog post- but WordPress gives you a few ways to create shorter excerpts for your teasers.
