Our mission is to expand and strengthen the capacity of volunteer monitoring programs and support development of new groups.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are about 1700 volunteer water monitoring programs operating in the United States, many of which have new coordinators within the past few years. This site is intended to help share resources among programs, to help coordinators learn tips for successfully managing their programs over time, and to help programs network. It also serves as a location to help those seeking work in water-related positions (especially as related to volunteer monitoring, citizen science, and outreach) find organizations that have open positions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
