It is located within the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/rsenr\">Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources<\/a>\u00a0and associated with both\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/extension\">UVM Extension<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/seagrant\/node\/1\">Lake Champlain Sea Grant<\/a>. Kris is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/gund\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/gund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gund Institute for Environment <\/a>Affiliate. Research of the lab follows two primary themes both of which relate to water resources. First is public participation in scientific research, which is also known as volunteer monitoring or participatory science. Second is environmental resource management and related community action, response and resilience.
