Winter has made its presence clear, snow on the ground and bare trees. I believe I saw some beech with a few leaves on it still (someone told me that beechs are one of the last trees to lose their leaves!). The leaf litter on the ground seems dark which most likely means they are decomposing. Saw a few squirrels and heard some birds so they are continuing to chill, no change to them. The snow wasnt thick enough to track animals but maybe in the spring semester, until then, happy holidays!
