My phenology place is located within Centennial Woods. To get there, start at the entrance to Centennial Woods, and follow the trail until you cross the bridge over the stream and enter the clearing. Standing in the center of the clearing, turn left and walk down the slope until you reach the stream again. Cross the stream on the rocks and walk a few feet down the path to the plank bridge, which I am using as the center of my phenology place.
I chose this spot as my phenology place because of how far you can see. It looks out over a large area surrounded by many species of trees and has the stream running by next to it. I thought it would be very interesting to see how it changes over the next few months because of the variety it has.
