Wildlife on Agricultural Lands

The articles and interview in this section focuses primarily on the social aspects that rewilding plays on in the realm of the agricultural landscape.  These articles dive two contributing factors that may make some farmers reluctant in applying rewilding on their working farms, but there is also another article that analyzes the success farmer Jimmy Bryan has had in incorporating wildlife on his Mississippi Farm.  The interview brings all these articles back into the realm of Vermont, as I interviewed Dana Bishop, Natural resources manager of Shelburne Farms.  Though Shelburne Farms is not an intense crop production farm, it still makes produce and is an iconic farm for the state of Vermont, as it is seen as a farm that tries its best to maintain it’s image of sustainability as well as education.  Follow the tabs under Rewilding of the Wildlife on Agricultural lands to dive deeper into each of these cases.
