I am Jake Tacinelli, a Sophomore UVM student interested in what goes on in the natural world surrounding me; this is my website. I live in Connecticut, have a beagle named Chase, and I recently have been getting into rock climbing. I also work as a lifeguard at a wonderful place called Winding Trails, which also happens to be a non-profit wildlife preserve with 380 acres of natural woodlands and waterways! Winding Trails is a place that I have grown up with, from going to the beach with my family, to going on nature walks as a camper, and now working as a lifeguard at their lake. Despite the amount of time I have spent at Winding Trails, there are many areas within Winding Trails that I have not stopped to observe.
