As I sat at salmon hole and took in the surrounds around, I noticed lots had changed since the last time I had visited. There were lots of children playing and fishermen at the river. The water was not as high as it was when I visited directly after a storm, but it was higher than when I first visited. All the rocks that were covered by water from the flood has a coating of hard mud. This time of year, there was no wildlife around that I could see except the occasional flock of geese. In the forest, almost all the leaves had fallen and the grass is starting to become more brown than green.
