After going back to salmon hole to check on my young sugar maple, i noticed not much has changed. Although it does seem as though the buds have grown a bit, there are no major changes in the tree from the previous week. The landscape however changed drastically. The once snow ridden salmon hole is now snowless. The water that was half frozen and low just a few weeks ago is now the highest i’ve seen it.
