The Symmetry of a Bird’s Call

Imagine each person is a bird–

sit down in a crowded public area

spot a crow, a raven, a nightingale, a lark, and a robin

hear the sound of their footsteps as birdsong

compose lyrics to accompany their twittering melodies.

Sing: song ; unfurl: feathers

never return to that public area.

The “big idea”of this mask is close relationship. I wish that even if people wear mask, they will feel warm to each other. At the same time, I also hope that the materials for making the mask are easy to find and can be make by people’s themselves, which because I hope everyone can protect themselves during the period of coronavirus.Therefore, the mask I made by ziploc,which was no color, and we can all see each other’s faces and expressions. In order not to be boring, I hung two frog’s bag clips on the ears, which improved the mask’s interesting nature. The two bag clips can be adjusted according to the size of people’s ear. My motivation for designing this mask is to make people love wearing masks and become a trend or there is not much change in appearance between wearing masks and not.
