Why my ‘place’ is the Redstone Pines

To get to the Redstone pines from Uheights South, which is where I live, exit the building and cross University Heights to take the path West towards the interfaith center. Behind the center is a grouping of tall pines that are usually populated with hammocks and slacklines. I chose this area to study over the coming weeks because it is a place I spend a lot of time in, and I enjoy just sitting there, observing the nature around me. I often do homework in my hammock at the pines, but as the weather gets colder it will be harder to do so. I like this area because it is nice and open unlike Centennial Woods, but still has many trees to observe. It is a peaceful place to go with friends or alone, and I visit it several days a week.
