Dr. Jaime Pinero, the \u2018new\u2019 UMASS Extension Entomologist, has revived this valuable tool, which I have attached here.<\/p>\n<p>Key take-homes:<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Orchard sanitation this spring (<em>especially critical for those who had scab issues last year<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Disease management (rots, Marssonina)<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Insect management<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Invasive species status<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Plant growth regulators<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Pesticide updates<\/p>\n<p>&middot; Decision support systems<\/p>\n<p>I also want to announce the pending publication of a print version of the New England Tree Fruit Management Guide. This has not been offered in print for several years. The printed guide will be a reformatted version of the material available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netreefruit.org\">www.netreefruit.org<\/a>. I\u2019ll post a notice when it is available to order.
