Today’s Activities:

  • Backups:
    • Backup Maintenance Day:
      • No issues in the entire thing. Amazing!
      • Recreating the tape library was much easier than it used to be.
      • Power cycle of JBOD attached to bujbod1 was clean.
      • Entire process took about three hours.
    • Clones started.
    • COMIS Clones completed at 9:47 (13m).
    • Backup RFI follow-up questions.
    • Repaired retention times: 3 tapes, 16 save sets.
    • Retrieve tape from vaults for COMIS.
    • TAPE clones completed at 18:11 (8h 37m).
  • LDAP/Accounts:
    • Update LDAP entry per request. Turns out NS needed to do a forced update.
