{"id":986,"date":"2016-02-01T16:19:36","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T20:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/farmvia\/?p=986"},"modified":"2016-02-01T16:19:36","modified_gmt":"2016-02-01T20:19:36","slug":"grants-for-dairy-farms-due-february-12th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/farmvia\/?p=986","title":{"rendered":"Grants for Dairy Farms Due February 12th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apply for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vhcb.org\/Farm-Forest-Viability\/dairy-improvement-grants\/\">Dairy Improvement Grants<\/a> up to $20,000<\/p>\n<p>With grant funds donated by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commonwealthdairy.com\/\">Commonwealth Dairy<\/a> and\u00a0in partnership with the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stalbanscooperative.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> St. Albans Cooperative Creamery<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfamilk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dairy Farmers of America<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Housing Vermont<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation<\/a>, the Vermont Farm &amp; Forest Viability Program provides grants of up to $20,000 to Vermont dairy farmer members of the St. Albans Co-op and Dairy Farmers of America to make farm improvements. This round of funding is for projects that will improve water quality and help farmers meet new water quality regulations.
