About

This blog is part of my Natural Resources 001: Natural History and Human Ecology class at the University of Vermont. I will be examining the seasonal cycles of Redstone Quarry here in Burlington, as well as considering the history of land use at this location and the interactions between this natural area and the development surrounding it.

Here is a Google Map of Redstone Quarry, with my focal area approximately drawn on, and below is an embedded map from OpenStreetMaps. The line with triangles shows the cliff, and the area I am examining is more or less bounded by the cliff to the east and the houses to the west between Hoover St. and Adams Rd.
