Thursday, December 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>*ECHO PRESENTS -- \u201cTHAT\u2019S BRILLIANT\u201d*\r\n\r\n*Celebrating Vermont Inventors with an Outdoor Winter Theme*\r\n\r\n*Thursday, December 13, 2012*\r\n\r\nBURLINGTON, VT. \u2014 *THAT\u2019S BRILLIANT!* is an evening dedicated to ingenuity\r\nand creativity by Vermont inventors with a focus on the Vermont Winter\r\nOutdoors and new this year, presentations by the VT Agency of\r\nTransportation and Vermont Ski Safety.\r\n\r\nECHO\u2019s new Revision Lakeside Pavilion space will be transformed into an\r\ninventor\u2019s dream space with nine Vermont inventors showing off their\r\ncreativity with products created for winter use.\r\n\r\n**\r\n\r\n*Inventions include:*\r\n* The Bambini and the Ice Mower (Damian J. Products, LLC)\r\n* Carving Snow Sled (Hammerhead Sleds)\r\n* Alpine Ski Binding (KneeBinding)\r\n* Bikes On Snow (Bikes On Snow, LLC)\r\n* Alpine Wings (Bzaea, LLC)\r\n* Handmade Dog Sleds (Montgomery Adventures)\r\n* Vew Do Balance Boards (Balance Designs, Inc.)\r\n* Telemark Ski Leash (Bluebird Day Gear)\r\n* Ice Climbing Gear (Petra Cliffs)\r\n\r\nMore information about these inventions and many others can be found at\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inventvermont.com\/\" target=\"bNzWQZum_QlQuMHexJ6ymGA\">http:\/\/www.inventvermont.com\/<\/a>\r\n\r\n*Two speakers will be presenting:* Carl Ettlinger, an engineer and founder\r\nof Vermont Ski Safety, will share insights gained about ski safety and the\r\npartnerships and collaborations created to make the sport of skiing even\r\nsafer. Jim Cota and Dave Blackmore from the Vermont Agency of\r\nTransportation (VTrans) will offer a hands-on demonstration of the creative\r\nand environmentally kind use of brine to treat ice on Vermont roadways.\r\n\r\n*Climb aboard!* VTrans will have their Super Tanker Salt Brine Truck on\r\ndisplay with additional VTrans folks on hand to answer questions.\r\n\r\nObserve, touch, try and learn about these useful, quirky, clever and\r\namazing inventions! Meet the inventors to learn about their special\r\ncreations and what motivated them to invent in the first place. Learn how\r\nto get your invention to market from professionals who will be on hand.\r\n\r\n*There will be door prizes!* Door prizes include, but are not limited to:\r\ndog sled ride, learn to paddle board lesson for two, an intro ice climbing\r\nlesson for one, and a scenic cruise on Lake Champlain.\r\n\r\n Tickets are just $10 for ECHO members and $15 for non-members and can be\r\nreserved by calling 1.877.324.6386.
