Overview<\/p>\n
This position is located within the Stormwater Management Program of the Watershed Management Division.\u00a0 The position is responsible for developing programs for assembling, evaluating, and maintaining stormwater compliance and monitoring data.\u00a0 The position will also develop systems for providing feedback to regulated entities on reporting requirements, review technical reports and track compliance actions.\u00a0 Additionally, the position work with other stormwater analysts to perform site inspections at regulated facilities.<\/p>\n

General Job Description<\/p>\n
Planning, analytical, and administrative work at a basic professional level for the Department of Environmental Conservation.\u00a0\u00a0 Duties involve the technical review and analysis of environmental policies, programs activities, and data in a variety of department regulatory, non-regulatory, scientific, and engineering programs.\u00a0 Work at this level differs from higher level analysts in the scope of projects and level of independence and from lower level analysts in the level of expertise and breadth of knowledge required.\u00a0 Work is performed under the supervision of a higher level technical or administrative superior.<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications
\nPreference will be given to candidates:<\/p>\n
1) who have experience with the assessment of environmental impacts resulting from stormwater runoff.<\/p>\n
2)\u00a0 who have experience with the design and implementation of data tracking systems, including database development and management.<\/p>\n
3) who have experience with working with the regulated community.<\/p>\n
4) who have experience with implementing federal, state or local laws \/ regulations.<\/p>\n
