Wild Rockies Field Institute now accepting applications for its spring term field course, <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cColorado Plateau: Desert Canyons and Cultures\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A student from the 2012 Colorado Plateau course has this to say about his experience:<\/p>\n

\u201cDirectly experiencing what we were learning made such a huge difference.\u00a0 It is one thing to read about or be lectured about a subject, but it is quite another to actually see and touch the geology, ecology, and culture of the Colorado Plateau.\u201d<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 LOCATION: <\/strong>American Southwest (Southern Utah & Northern Arizona)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 FIELD TIME:<\/strong> 100% of the course is in the field! (backpacking, canoeing, and front country site visits)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 CREDITS:<\/strong> 15 total (NEW COURSE ADDED for 2013- Native American Studies 395<\/em><\/strong>)<\/p>\n
