Duties include: sampling\u00a0pollinator abundance,\u00a0collecting bee specimens, conducting vegetation surveys, performing pollination\u00a0experiments, and specimen processing and\u00a0curation. Technicians will gain\u00a0valuable research experience in a field setting, working directly with the\u00a0study\u2019s leader, Taylor Ricketts, and a lead\u00a0technician. Must be available to\u00a0work 3-5 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Successful applicants will have:\u00a0A strong interest in field biology,\u00a0native bees, and landscape or community\u00a0ecology; willingness to work outdoors rain or shine; acute attention to detail;\u00a0ability to work well with others;\u00a0flexible availability. Previous field\u00a0research experience and your own car are preferred but not required.
