Earth Day Post

After visiting my site in Centennial Woods I found very few spring wildflowers except fiddleheads and ferns, moss, various fungi and unidentified grasses and other plant. So far very few trees have begun to flower that I’ve noticed. They have definitely begun to bud which you can see on most deciduous trees.

My hand drawn sketches are of the babbling Centennial brook meandering its way across my Phenology site and of a Pileated Woodpecker I observed while there.
