I went and sat a little bit off of the main path for 15 minutes and it was a very calming experience. Although the path was still pretty busy with people enjoying this location; the trees, the birds, and the sound of the water was still very relaxing. It was pretty chilly being so close to the water but the colors surrounding me were all very warm and comforting. The air felt really fresh and it noticeably felt easier to breath. After a few minutes I could kind of focus on the sounds from nature rather than the bustling of families walking and talking a few yards away. When the 15 minutes were finally up I felt very clear-headed and fresh.
