Or, are you seeking experience to learn what you might want to do in the future?\u00a0 Once you land an internship, dig your feet in!\u00a0 Ask questions.\u00a0 Be as useful as you possibly can.\u00a0 Think about who you might want to warm up to for future recommendations.\u00a0 Most of all, make the most of whatever situation you are in.\u00a0 Internships can be a great first step toward learning more about the industry and learning about yourself.<\/p>\n

\nLocally there is WCAX (CBS affiliate), WPTZ (NBC affiliate) and FOX44.\u00a0 WCAX has a formal internship program to apply to.\u00a0 The others you can call and ask!\u00a0 Local cable access stations include VCAM (great place!) and RETN.\u00a0 Students have had positive experiences at all of these stations.
