Have a washing machine that you want to convert into a greens spinner?<\/p>\n

Have you already done the conversion, but want to improve it?<\/p>\n

Join us for one of two hands-on, intensive workshops this fall focused on getting the job done and doing it well.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been exploring ways to improve these conversions for improved produce quality, produce safety, personnel safety, and machine longevity. In the process, we have learned some tricks that will make your conversion and use of these machines easier and more efficient.<\/p>\n

Please register using the link below and tell us what you have and what you hope to accomplish. We will get back to you with a shopping list and a rough plan so we can all hit the ground running on the day of the workshop.<\/p>\n

This is a hands-on workshop and you are required to bring your machine with you along with tools and supplies to get the work done. We will help guide you in that process. We also plan to have a hand truck and an appliance dolly to help move machines around.<\/p>\n

Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop and the activity involved, we may have to limit the number of attendees based on the order of registration and\/or degree of need.<\/p>\n

Cost<\/h1>\n

The cost of this workshop will vary based on your model’s conversion parts needed and will cost $50-100. <\/strong>(Whirlpool conversions require bumpers which increase the cost) We will provide all the components needed to do a conversion and will add up the total before you leave for the day. Please bring a method of payment (check<\/strong> or cash) for the conversion materials which we will supply. \u00a0Additionally, If you would like to make a donation to the UVM Extension Ag Engineering fund<\/a> to help support future magic we’d greatly appreciate it.<\/p>\n
