Say What? - PaulStamatiou.com\">Paul Stamatiou points us to<\/a> the imminent release of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firefox.com\/backtoschool\">Firefox Campus Edition<\/a> &#8211; a &#8220;back to school&#8221; version of the web browser that comes with a few <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/\">add-ons<\/a> geared for students.  <\/p>\n<p>While only one of the add-ons, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zotero.org\/\" title=\"Zotero - The Next-Generation Research Tool\">Zotero<\/a> (which we&#8217;ve <a href=\"http:\/\/ctl.blog.uvm.edu\/2006\/11\/zotero_the_end_of_endnote.html\" title=\"Zotero: The End of EndNote? - Center for Teaching &amp; Learning\">mentioned<\/a> before), has a decidedly &#8220;academic&#8221; feel to it, the concept of bundling tools in this way is intriguing.  Campuses regularly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/ets\/software\/\">offer software<\/a> that is modified to fit their user base.  However with the web and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flock.com\/\" title=\"Flock - the social web browser\">even browsers themselves<\/a> becoming <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Web_2.0\" title=\"Web 2.0 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia\">more social<\/a> in nature, the idea of deploying a customized browser presents all sorts of possibilities, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.citeulike.org\/\" title=\"CiteULike: A free online service to organise your academic papers\">bookmarklets<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/toolbar\/\" title=\"Facebook | Incompatible Browser\">toolbars<\/a>, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libraryjournal.com\/article\/CA6457218.html\" title=\"The Library In Your Toolbar - 7\/15\/2007 - Library Journal\">customized search bars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you were going to build a customized version of Firefox for your campus, what would you choose to include?
