Center for Research on Vermont is Collecting Stories and Photos of Irene

August 30, 2011 by crvt

How has Irene impacted your life? your landscape? your neighbors? What happened in your town?

The Center for Research on Vermont is collecting Vermonters’ stories and images of Tropical Storm Irene.  Please send us your accounts of what happened to you, your neighbors, or your community. We have been touched, saddened, and inspired by the many stories we have heard already -stories of  neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers aiding strangers, and the incredible reshaping of our landscapes.

The Center for Research on Vermont will post stories and photographs on this blog. We  will also archive the material.  We expect  this archive will help us piece together what has taken place in Vermont over the last few days, and will serve as a historical record for future research into the effects of Irene on our state and our citizens.

Click on the “Read/View Posts” tab above to see submissions.

To post a story or a photo, please follow the directions on the “Submit your Photo or Story” tab above.
