Check for a switch on the bottom of the mouse or back of the keyboard.<\/li><li>Are the batteries dead? Try replacing them.<\/li><li>Is the dongle still there? Wireless accessories often require a &#8220;dongle&#8221; to receive the signals from the device. Check the computer&#8217;s USB ports to make sure it hasn&#8217;t gone missing.<\/li><li>Try moving the dongle to a different USB port.<\/li><li>Try restarting your computer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/chwb-tech\/files\/2019\/04\/wireless-dongle.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-542\" width=\"150\" height=\"126\" \/><figcaption><strong>Wireless Dongle<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standard (Wired) Mouse or Keyboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Check the wire where it plugs into your computer: is it firmly in place? Unplug it and plug it back in.<\/li><li>No luck?
