Take these steps to put your email into Auto-Reply mode.<\/p>\n<p>(The following instructions are for the Windows version of Outlook, but if you prefer, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/it\/kb\/article\/set-an-automatic-reply-message\">these instructions<\/a> for the web version).<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In Outlook, click the File menu to display the Account Information page.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Automatic Replies&#8221;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/chwb-tech\/files\/2018\/08\/Account-Information.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-421\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/chwb-tech\/files\/2018\/08\/Account-Information-300x203.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/chwb-tech\/files\/2018\/08\/Account-Information-300x203.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/chwb-tech\/files\/2018\/08\/Account-Information.png 737w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>In the pop-up window, select the \u201c<strong>Send automatic replies<\/strong>\u201d bubble and check the \u201c<strong>Only send during this time range<\/strong>\u201d box. In the fields below, set the duration of your Auto Reply message.<\/li>\n<li>Include an auto-reply message for people <strong>inside of UVM<\/strong> and (optionally) people <strong>outside of UVM<\/strong> too. If you choose the latter option,\u00a0be sure to copy and paste your out-of-office message, or some variation of it, into the &#8220;Outside My Organization&#8221; tab too.
