Mack Hamilton, a Senior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, Department of Agriculture, Landscape & Environment, is exploring the use of fungal biopesticides to manage ticks. Alex Tallo, a Senior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, Department of Agriculture, Landscape & Environment, is exploring the use of alyssum habitat plantings to attract and sustain natural enemies and bean trap plants to attract pests in high tunnel vegetables. This work is supported by Northeast SARE LNE25-500R.


Lucy Lannan, a Junior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences majoring in Biological Sciences, received a 2025 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) award. The project focuses on testing the compatibility of Anystis baccarum, a new predatory mite, with entomopathogenic fungi as an effective IPM technique against aphids on high tunnel vegetables.
