We will be staying at the University of Vermont campus on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings (July 13-15). The first event begins at 5:00 on Saturday afternoon. We will conclude the conference in Burlington on Friday, July 19 by noon. Accommodations to stay at the University of Vermont campus will be available the evening prior to the conference (July 12) and at the conclusion of the conference (July 19).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check-In Times : <\/strong>Participants are welcome to check in at the University Heights North desk anytime between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.\u00a0 If you are arriving outside of those times, please call the staff person on duty at: <span lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;font-size: medium\"><span style=\"color: #00b0f0;font-family: Arial,sans-serif\">802-656-5550<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Address:<\/strong> University Heights Dormitory, 30 University Heights, University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont 05405<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking:<\/strong> All participants driving their car to the conference will need a UVM parking pass. <em>Please email our intern Lucia Possehl <strong>by June 24<\/strong> to request a pass (<span style=\"color: black;font-family: Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif,EmojiFont,Apple Color Emoji,Segoe UI Emoji,NotoColorEmoji,Segoe UI Symbol,Android Emoji,EmojiSymbols;font-size: medium\"><span id=\"divtagdefaultwrapper\"><a href=\"mailto:Lucia.Sullivan-Possehl@uvm.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lucia.Sullivan-Possehl@uvm.edu<\/a><\/span><\/span>)<\/em>. It will be with your registration materials when you check in at the dormitory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transportation:<\/strong> The local airport, located about two miles from the University of Vermont campus, is the <strong>Burlington International Airport<\/strong>. It offers flights to all major US airports. There is local bus service from the airport to the campus, but it requires a bit of walking and service is not frequent so we recommend taking an Uber, Lyft, or taxi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We recommend international travelers consider flying in and out of a Montreal airport<\/strong>. Montreal is 1.5 hours from Burlington. There is bus service from Montreal to Burlington. Flights between European cities and Canadian cities and Montreal are typically less expensive than flights directly into Burlington. <em>However, this option will necessitate crossing the US\/Canada border which may cause delays in travel time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amtrak service<\/strong> (The Vermonter) from New York and Washington DC runs to nearby Essex, Vermont a few miles from Burlington. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amtrak.com\/home.html\">https:\/\/www.amtrak.com\/home.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Taxis, Uber, and a public bus run from the Amtrak station to the University of Vermont campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bus Service:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Greyhound<\/strong> offers to Burlington (and the University of Vermont campus) from most US cities and from Montreal: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greyhound.com\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.greyhound.com\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bus service between Boston and Burlington is also offered by <strong>Megabus<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/us.megabus.com\/\">https:\/\/us.megabus.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The conference will begin and end in Burlington, Vermont.
