Please contact Dr Doug Ramsey at <a href=\"mailto:Ramsey@BrandonU.CA\">Ramsey@BrandonU.CA<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>United States, Australia and New Zealand<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please contact Professor Lisa Harrington at <a href=\"mailto:lbutlerh@ksu.edu\">lbutlerh@ksu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications are due January 10, 2019.\u00a0 Decisions will be made by early February 2019.\u00a0 Please note the following considerations that will be taken into account in the selection process:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Papers are well-conceived and relevant to rural geography.<\/li>\n<li>Our delegation should include scholars whose work is work is well positioned in the rural geography specialty area.<\/li>\n<li>Following the tradition of the Quadrennial meetings, our delegation should represent rural researchers from across the career spectrum (students to senior academics).<\/li>\n<li>Additional considerations include:\n<ol>\n<li>fit of proposed paper to meeting theme, and<\/li>\n<li>contributions of the applicant to the Rural Geography Specialty Group and its predecessors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please include the following in your application:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>Title of paper<\/li>\n<li>Authors<\/li>\n<li>Paper summary (including at least 5 key references) (approximately 250 words + list of references)<\/li>\n<li>Institution, if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Department\/Division<\/li>\n<li>Country<\/li>\n<li>List degrees, specifying the discipline, starting with the most recent<\/li>\n<li>List recent positions and those <em>relevant to the event<\/em>.
