Vermont 2-1-1 can help people find resources for basic needs, mental health and substance abuse services, criminal justice and legal services, health care, income support, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone can access Vermont 2-1-1\u2019s confidential and free services by dialing <a href=\"tel:2-1-1\">2-1-1<\/a> from anywhere in the state, texting your zip code to 898211 (Monday \u2013 Friday from 8AM-8PM), or using their online community <a href=\"http:\/\/www.navigateresources.net\/211vermont\/\">resource directory<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you, 2-1-1, for all that you do for Vermonters! Here\u2019s\nmore information on other community referrals for common consumer problems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have an insurance complaint?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contact the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dfr.vermont.gov\/consumers\/file-complaint\/insurance\">Insurance\nDivision<\/a>. The Insurance Division regulates insurance in Vermont. To get\nhelp with filing a complaint, call <a href=\"tel:800-964-1784\">800-964-1784<\/a> or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dfr.vermont.gov\/consumers\/file-complaint\">file a complaint online<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have a legal problem?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Call <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalservicesvt.org\/\">Legal Services Vermont<\/a>\nat <a href=\"tel:800-889-2047\">800-889-2047<\/a>. An intake specialist will get basic information about you\nand your legal problem. If they can help you with your legal issue, you will be\nreferred to a paralegal or lawyer at Legal Services Vermont or Vermont Legal\nAid. Their services are free.&nbsp;You can also visit their legal help <a href=\"https:\/\/vtlawhelp.org\/\">website<\/a> for\ninformation. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have a\nbanking-related complaint?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contact the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dfr.vermont.gov\/consumers\/file-complaint\/banking\">Banking Division<\/a>. The Banking Division regulates a variety of entities including banks, lenders, and mortgage brokers. To get help with filing a complaint, call <a href=\"tel:888-568-4547\">888-568-4547<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/dfr.vermont.gov\/consumers\/file-complaint\">file a complaint online<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have a\ncomplaint with a public utility like a phone or internet provider?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contact the Vermont Department of Public Service\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/publicservice.vermont.gov\/publications-resources\/consumers\">Consumer\nAffairs and Public Information Division<\/a> (CAPI).
