January

The last time that I visited my phenology spot in December there was also snow on the ground, so there have not been many visible changes. However, I have noticed that there are many less plants visible now as they are currently covered by more snow. Although I did not see any bunny tracks this time, I did notice what could possibly be a fox, or maybe just a dog off leash on a walk. These tracks were under the protection of the canopy of a large white pine tree, so there was less snow around. I also took this picture earlier in the week before it had snowed, so the next time that I visit these tracks will most likely be gone and covered by snow. I am excited to see what more changes come in the near future!
