{"id":5164,"date":"2011-08-10T08:12:11","date_gmt":"2011-08-10T13:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv\/?p=5164"},"modified":"2011-08-10T08:12:11","modified_gmt":"2011-08-10T13:12:11","slug":"growth-in-the-underbrush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv\/2011\/08\/10\/growth-in-the-underbrush\/","title":{"rendered":"Growth in the underbrush&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leon <a href=\"http:\/\/afterxnature.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/theological-implications-of-object.html\">takes me to task<\/a> for slowing down here, but finds much life in the ecophilosophical immanent-ontological underbrush &#8212; among fellow travelers<span style=\"font-size: small\"> <a href=\"http:\/\/knowledge-ecology.com\/\">Knowledge Ecology<\/a> (who&#8217;s been on a roll lately), <a href=\"http:\/\/immanenttranscedence.blogspot.com\/\">Immanent Transcendence<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/ecologywithoutnature.blogspot.com\/\">Ecology without Nature<\/a>. (And we should  add Leon&#8217;s own <a href=\"http:\/\/afterxnature.blogspot.com\/\">After Nature<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\">.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">(Note: It&#8217;s all underbrush; no towering redwoods among us.)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">He is, of course, right on all these counts. I&#8217;ve been a little nomadic  over the summer (including spending beach time on Martha&#8217;s Vineyard this week with little <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv\/2011\/01\/23\/emergence\/\">rinpoche<\/a>) and unable to spend much time online. I haven&#8217;t even managed to stay up to date with the Integral Ecology reading group (which <a href=\"http:\/\/ecologywithoutnature.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/seventh-and-final-report-on-integral.html\">hyper-prolific<\/a> Tim has thrown several <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ecologywithoutnature.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/i-love-whales-and-i-dont-want-them-to.html\">smoke-bombs<\/a><span style=\"font-size: small\"> into, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archivefire.net\/\">Michael<\/a> will be wrapping up).
