Graham Harman has been providing more useful writing tips, <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorzamalek2.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/28\/in-praise-of-drafts-again\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorzamalek2.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/28\/from-reading-a-book-to-writing-a-chapter-about-it\/\">here<\/a>. William Connolly has been <a href=\"http:\/\/contemporarycondition.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/what-was-fascism.html\">posting<\/a> to the impressive group blog <a href=\"http:\/\/contemporarycondition.blogspot.com\/\">The Contemporary Condition<\/a>. Levi has been posting about <a href=\"http:\/\/larvalsubjects.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/27\/flat-ontology-and-flat-ethics\/\">flat ontology and flat ethics<\/a> and about <a href=\"http:\/\/larvalsubjects.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/27\/whiteheads-prehensions-and-onticology\/\">Whitehead&#8217;s relation to Levi&#8217;s onticology<\/a> (with a bit of an exchange between myself and him in the comments). Andrew Ray has been posting some wonderful stuff on <a href=\"http:\/\/some-landscapes.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/robinson-in-ruins.html\">film\/art and placescapes<\/a>. Tim Morton and Ben Woodard are launching a very promising new journal called <a href=\"http:\/\/naughtthought.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/26\/thinking-nature-update-and-issue-1-cfp\/\">Thinking Nature<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Most of these things I&#8217;ve shared on my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/reader\/shared\/11148938922555735116\">shared items page<\/a>, visible here as the running list of items you see on the right-hand column of this blog&#8217;s main web page. You can subscribe to that from GoogleReader (or just choose to &#8220;follow me&#8221; there, which I suspect includes my occasional comments and &#8220;likes&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been working on a new WordPress version of this blog, but haven&#8217;t quite gotten it ready. When it&#8217;s all set, I&#8217;ll give readers a chance to vote on whether to keep this one or opt for the new one (though you can sneak a glance at it <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv\/\">here, <\/a> and feel free to let me know if you think it&#8217;s worth the change or not).<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, I&#8217;ll be blogging less as I&#8217;m working hard on the last three chapters of <em>Ecologies of the Moving Image<\/em>, which I suspect will be one of the first books that could legitimately call itself &#8220;an ecophilosophy of the cinema.&#8221; The proximity of Caspian Lake in Greensboro, Vermont (longtime summer home of Wallace Stegner), is helping with the writing.
