{"id":521,"date":"2014-05-11T15:30:14","date_gmt":"2014-05-11T19:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv-ukrtaz\/?p=521"},"modified":"2022-03-11T18:26:57","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T22:26:57","slug":"right-sector-vs-united-russia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/aivakhiv-ukrtaz\/2014\/05\/11\/right-sector-vs-united-russia\/","title":{"rendered":"Right Sector vs. United Russia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/podrobnosti.ua\/society\/2014\/05\/05\/974538.html\">Survey results<\/a> carried out by <a href=\"http:\/\/public.ru\/\">Public.ru<\/a> for the month of April show the number of mentions in Russian media of Ukrainian far-right grouping &#8220;Right Sector&#8221; &#8212; whose leader, Dmytro Yarosh,\u00a0has 0.7% support according to the latest poll results &#8212; was second among all Russian or Ukrainian political organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The only group that was mentioned more frequently was the Russian party in power, Vladimir Putin&#8217;s United Russia.\u00a0 That party received 19,050 points according to the methodology used, compared to Right Sector&#8217;s 18,900. Both were well ahead of others. (See results below.)
