In our conversation we celebrate the diversity and richness of the entertainment industry, though we also try to draw attention to issues and challenges related to entertainment which have societal implications.

In this podcast, we explored the Cuban energy crisis, discussing how USAID and other organizations have stopped supplying funding to Cuba, and we talked about the protests that are occurring in Cuba, including the different organizations and ongoing movements. We also talked about the history of the relationship between the Cuban and Honduran medical brigades, the ongoing issues, and different ways that countries can provide medical care for each other. Finally, we talked about the way in which music acts to unify American and Latinos, specifically how Bad Bunny is merging Latin music with American music and combining the United States and Puerto Rican cultures.
