Kristen spent her teenage years working on a small dairy in Addison County. As a young adult, she began her work as a community-based educator, first in Japan, followed by Brooklyn, then returning to Vermont. She currently coordinates the statewide Youth Farm Safety Project at UVM Extension 4-H.
