About the McKay Lab

The McKay lab performs genetic, genomic, epigenetic and epigenomic work with animals.  Our primary interest is identifying epigenetic modifications associated with genetic variation of economically important traits in cattle.  Another interest of the McKay lab is working on wildlife genetics.  To date, we have been working on moose population genetics and bobcat epigenetics.
