I did not see much wildlife activity but there were a few stray tracks (mostly from dog, but perhaps a few small-footed animals such as squirrels). The tracks were difficult to see because it hadn’t snowed in a while and the snow was very icy and melted. I did hear many birds and could see a few larger birds together in the sky. By analyzing the twigs found around my site I could identify Red Maple, Eastern White Pine, Norway Maple, and White Oak. Since my last visit there is much more snow and fallen leaves, twigs, branches, and pinecones. There seems to be less wildlife activity in the site.
