Hello, Class of 2007!

Hard to believe it’s been almost 10 years since you graduated from UVM!

A lot happens in a decade — new careers, travel adventures, marriages and partnerships, births and adoptions, and many new friendships.

We hope 2017 is a year in which you can take some time to think about UVM and all of those meaningful experiences and relationships you had here.

We’ll try to guide you through some of those memories, reconnect you with campus, tell some of your stories, and hopefully see many of you back in October for your 10th reunion celebration.

Here’s how you can join the fun:

  • Read our emails. Seems simple, but we know you get 100+ emails a day, so look for us in your inbox (or promotions tab) a couple times a month.
  • Join the Facebook group. Yep, Facebook started while you were at UVM and we’re coming full circle. It’s a quick way to stay in the loop (especially if your inbox is a mess). Join the group by clicking here.
  • Volunteer. There are a couple of ways to get involved: (1) Join the Reunion Committee and give up an hour a month or (2) Sign-up to share on social media with your friends whenever it makes sense for you.
  • Get some friends to pay attention. We only have email addresses for 40% of your class and it’s gonna be mighty lonely out there for other 60% of your class. Ask your friends if they are getting our emails. If not, have them update their information here.

And now, to get you thinking about 10 years ago, we’ll leave you with the top pop hit of 2007.

Want To Go Back In Time? Read The Cynic Archives

Since we’re in the nostalgia business here at the Foundation & Alumni Association, I thought you might be interested to read about what was happened on campus between 2003 and 2007.

Luckily, our friends over at The Cynic have a digital archive of all their stories you can peruse.

If you are bored at home or work, take a few minutes and read some stories.  Here are a few gems we’ve found so far:
