And neither one is making me happy right now! HULK SMASH!!!

Thing #1: Cold. Not as in: “For a Vermont day in February, 20 degrees isn’t very cold.” As in:

Thing #2: Coraline. Neil Gaiman’s book rocked my world when it came out, and now there’s a movie of it and I’ve wanted to see the movie now for months and I even marked on our calendar that we’d be seeing the movie this weekend. But nooooooooooooo. I have a cold. So, no Coraline for me.

    The movie is, um, really good. I hope knowing this only adds to the pleasurable anticipation, and does not in any way increase the icky feeling of mucus-filled immobility.
