STUDY TITLE: Critical-thinking study

October 4th, starting as 7pm

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
If you wish to volunteer for the study, please send an email message FROM YOUR UVM EMAIL ADDRESS to think@uvm.edu with the following information:
- Your Full Name
- Your UVM Student ID #
- A phone # where we can reach you if necessary
- The class you are in where you were invited to participate (or if you received more than one invitation, note the class you want your participation to be associated with)
- Confirmation that you are over 18 and under 21
- Confirmation that you are a first year undergraduate student in your first semester of college
- All of the possible testing sessions you would be available to attend, and your top two preferences
We will be accepting volunteers for participation up until we reach the desired total number of participants from your class. Your participation will be confirmed via an email to your UVM email address, and the testing date/time and location will be provided at that time. We may also send you a reminder (via email or phone) as your assigned session date gets closer.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 1) Must be 18, but not yet 20, years of age, 2) First year, first semester student, 3) Psychology Major
STUDY DESRIPTION: During the study you will first be asked to complete several personality questionnaires. Next, you will be asked to rate a job applicant based upon their performance during a job interview. Finally, you will be asked to complete a couple additional personality questionnaires.
