Hello world!

First a bit about myself. My name is Marcie Crocker and I work at the Bailey/Howe Library of the University of Vermont. That being said, I am also a genealogist, not a professionally recognized one, but I have been searching for my ancestry a long time. I am also the current president of the Vermont French-Canadian Genealogical Society and a frequent volunteer at the Vermont Genealogy Library at Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester, Vermont.

I’ve decided to re-create a blog I had started long ago. My plan is to post interesting tidbits, websites and other blog entries that I find during my research into my ancestors. I’m also trying to follow Amy Johnson Crow’s “52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks” program to try and share some of the knowledge I’ve learned. I’m a little behind on that, so I plan on playing catch-up soon.

Happy Hunting!

Marcie Crocker
