My Phenology Blog location is at a brook in Centennial Woods. To get to the brook, you go in the main trail and when you get to the opening with two options take the trail to the right. Continue over the foot path that goes over the brook and when it ends, go to the right off the trail to the opening muddy flood plain surrounded by honeysuckle.
I chose this location because I would like to see how the water height changes throughout the year and I think the muddy surrounding area will be good for tracking. When I chose it I spotted some raccoon prints and some dog prints in the mud. I also enjoy the vegetation in the area. It consists of lots of Honeysuckle, some Barberry, and lots of ferns.
