College Campuses need organizations like the Janus Forum

One reason we created the Janus Forum at UVM is to foster constructive discussion from diverse points of view about controversial issues. See this blog post from Heterodox Academy that provides evidence in support of the need for the Janus Forum. These academics argue and provide evidence that 1. the speech climate on campus is worsening, 2. that “politically correct” viewpoints dominate, and 3. that since 2013, the people on the left are more likely to “disinvite” speakers or shut down presentation of viewpoints with which they disagree.
