Create a “Day Event” – Outlook on the Web (OWA)

If you’re coming from a background in Oracle Calendar, you may be wondering how to create “Day Events” on your Exchange calendar. While Exchange offers a similarĀ Day Event function, the process of creating a day even differs from Oracle Calendar.

  1. Sign into Outlook for the Web
  2. Use theĀ App Switcher to navigate to your Calendar view.
  3. Click on the day you would like to create an all day event for. Label your event, and check the “All Day” check box. Click “Save” if you’d like to create the Day Event, or click “More details” for additional options.
  4. You can add people to your event, change your “Show as” setting (this can be used to mark your day as Free, Busy, etc. Read more here), or add additional event details. When you’ve made your necessary changes, click the “Send” button in the top right corner.

That’s it, you’ve successfully created a daily event.
