NWP Loses Funding

With the loss of our national funding, Green Mountain Writing Projects has a need to step up to a challenge. We are used to working on a very tight budget, but now we are working on a base zero budget. We will need to look for opportunities to fund ourselves. We will be looking to our Teacher Consultants for help with this project.

The National Writing Project in Vermont is now the Green Mountain Writing Project.
The National Writing Project in Vermont (NWP-VT), established in 1996 on the campus of The University of Vermont, is a university-based organization of, by, and for teachers of writing. A site of the National Writing Project , NWP-VT is committed to improving writing and learning in the nation’s schools through its instructional leadership and professional development offerings.
We have opportunities for teachers and professional development.
