Mobilization Intern
Organizing volunteers and community members in the field is at the core of 350Vermont’s work. The mobilization intern will assist 350VT’s field organizer, Jaiel, in engaging and mobilizing people around the state for our Town Meeting Day resolutions campaign (TMDRC). The TMDRC focuses on localizing democracy and building momentum for a Just Transition off of fossil fuels.
Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications skills
• Detail oriented, able to work independently, proficient in social media platforms
• Some event planning and outreach experience
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with presentations, meetings, and teach-ins with the public and other stakeholders
• Conduct outreach to people across Vermont via email, phone, and in-person visits to take part in Town Meeting Day
• Provide logistical support to the Town Meeting Day Resolutions Campaign
