For more than twenty years, WRFI has offered academic field-based courses through the University of Montana. Our courses take place in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Canada. We combine rigorous academic inquiry with cultural immersion and extended backcountry expeditions. Students join us from colleges and universities across North America and from a wide variety of majors. More than 75 UVM students have earned credit with WRFI. We currently offer courses in Native American Studies, Geography, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, and Philosophy. Find our more on our website and Facebook!
